    This was lovely, Carole! That’s one of my favorite Christmas songs, too. “And in His name all oppression will cease” is a prophetic confession that gives me chills every time I hear it.

    My favorite carol. As a French teacher I sing it in French, where the gospel is clearly stated – that Jesus was the “God-man,” that it was for us that He was born, that He suffered and died, to erase the original stain and stop the curse… I’m usually crying by the time I finish…
